Impression of the new and first education for glassblowers and glass cutters in the Netherlands in Leerdam. SHOTS: - room, where glassblowing students are at work; - with the help of his teacher a student puts a hollow steel pipe in the "melt" and takes out an amount of "post"; - student rolls the "post" over a metal plate until it is a solid of revolution and then blows it up; - glass ball is cut loose and reheated in a fire; - students observe how the teacher finishes a glass candlestick; - boy cuts a motif in a glass bowl; - woman dusts off glass objects in the case; - several glass objects in case.
