Documentary about Enkhuizen.
Documentary about Enkhuizen. The film opens with a panoramic shot filmed from a church tower. From the tower, we can see the old town of Enkhuizen and, in the background, the former Zuiderzee. The documentary continues with images of the town’s important buildings and picturesque streets. The intertitles refer to the former glory days when Enkhuizen was still an important harbour. The silent witnesses from these former times are the harbour, and the ‘Dromedaris’ fortress tower.
